Finally, on October 24, Nürburgring officials provided Xiaomi a narrow one-hour window, and the prototype completed the record-setting lap on October 28.The original SU7, launched on March 28, is available in three versions—Standard, Pro, and Max—with prices ranging from RMB 215,900 ($30,200 USD) to RMB 299,900 ($42,000 USD).
The SU7 Ultra production model, expected in early 2025, is anticipated to be priced around RMB 800,000 ($112,000 USD) and will house Xiaomi’s robust V8s motor.
With a peak output of 1,138 kW (1,526 hp), the SU7 Ultra accelerates from 0-100 km/h in a mere 1.97 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in under six seconds, and boasts a top speed of over 350 km/h. David Pittard, the 2023 Nürburgring 24 Hours winner, handled the record-breaking lap.
While the lap time belongs to the prototype, the production SU7 Ultra will retain its core features, promising an electrifying entry for Xiaomi in the high-performance EV market.
